Quorum advised the shareholders of Paletco NV in their sale to Foresco Packaging NV (a member of the Foresco Group).
Paletco NV is a leading manufacturer of customised pallets, crates and boxes. The Foresco Group is the Benelux market leader in the production of customised pallets, wooden crates, crates and industrial carton packaging. The group also provides packaging services.
Thanks to the acquisition of Paletco NV, the Foresco Group’s turnover will grow to EUR 150M and the group will reinforce its position as the leading provider of pallets and customised packaging in wood and cardboard in the Benelux. In addition, optimisations will be examined in the areas of purchasing, production and business processes. In view of the supply problems in the current wood market situation, the acquisition means renewed security of supply for the customers of Paletco NV and the Foresco Group.
